You know the recent love hate relationship I've been having with the gym scale. To recap . . .
- Weeks 1-11: Amy on home scale (buck naked) and Amy on gym scale (clothed without shoes) = same weight
- Week 12: Amy on home scale = down 2 pounds and Amy on gym scale = down 0.1 pounds
- Week 13: Amy on home scale = down 6 pounds and Amy on gym scale = down 3 pounds
Needless to say, I will be extremely glad when this Biggest Loser contest is over; and I can go back to just me and my home scale.
Since I've been using it the longest and since my friend Julie (shout out!) pointed out that people are always jumping on and off the gym scale and it's not being regularly calibrated, I'm still sticking with the home scale.
That means I'm down 48 pounds! I haven't hit the new numbers as I had hoped as I needed to lose more than 2, but I've got this next week! I should be in the new numbers AND be getting a new bead! Woot! Woot!

So proud of you! I need to get started and just am having a hard time doing it. How did you get started? Keep up all the hard work.
Getting started is one of the hardest parts - believe me, I know. So much is mental. I've told my mom several times, "I just have to get my mind there." Thankfully, my mind finally got there. Philip and I went to Victory Fitness on Black Friday and took the plunge. We went back the next day with Shirley and watched her take the plunge! Having friends, having a support system, having workout buddies is essential. The days when I do not want to go to the gym I go because someone else is depending on me to be there and vice versa. If you need partners in crime, join us at Victory Fitness! You won't regret it!
I am with you on the scale mystery! I figure as long as were going down it's all good! LOL
I am so glad you guys talked me into going. And it's nice to have Nancy going too.
Plus you meet so many great people to work out with you never without some one to do something with. And the trainers help you too!
